Beverly Bravo

Beverly Bravo is low vision since birth due to Corneal Leukoma. She was part of ATRIEV’s digital training for kids sponsored by Liliane Fonds when she was only 12 years old. She has been a trainer of ATRIEV IT Center for the Blind since 2015. Through ATRIEV’s center-based and community-based trainings, she’s been teaching both visually impaired persons and Sped teachers about the power of assistive technology and how it can help society become accessible to everyone. For this manual, Beverly authored some of the lessons on Microsoft Excel and the entire module on Microsoft PowerPoint. She is also responsible for the photos and diagrams of all the units covering the Microsoft Productivity Suite. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa.

Beverly loves reading both fiction and non-fiction books, listening to podcasts about health and wellness, writing journal, and watching videos about beauty and lifestyle. Writing has always been her way of expressing herself and learning more about life. Her writing experience in this manual made her love writing even more and inspired her to develop this skill further. Through this manual she’s hoping that she would be able to share her knowledge to future trainers and educators in teaching visually impaired on how to use computers.
