Ebenchito Pabia

Ebenchito “Chito” Pabia is ATRIEV’s Chief Training Instructor. Though low vision since birth, Chito completed his course on associate degree in Computer technology at the Asia Pacific College through the sponsorship of Liliane Fonds. He has been an ATRIEV Trainer since 2007. In 2010, Chito moved on to being a voice transcriptionist and a sales agent in a bank.

In 2016 He went back to ATRIEV and pioneered ATRIEV’s Digital Literacy Training (DLT) and Intro to Computer Science (ICS), both courses sponsored by Microsoft. Because of his technical expertise, he is also ATRIEV’s Accessibility Lead handling ATRIEV’s web auditing services and accessibility testing of various apps and tools. Chito is also a certified Trainers Methodology Level ! Trainer given by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the government agency in charge of middle manpower development.

For this manual, Chito authored the module on Microsoft Word. He is also the overall coordinator of this manual. He loves programming, anime, and surfing the internet. He believes that with this manual he will be able to share his knowledge on how to teach information technology to learners with visual impairment.
