Nominee 2: JASMIN AMBIONG

Involvement with ATRIEV: ATRIEV alumna (P.C. Operations with Access Technology)

Nominee 3: JOSE “CHING” RAÑOLA

Involvement with ATRIEV: ATRIEV alumnus (DLT); ATRIEV Board Treasurer, 2018-Present;

Nominee 4: REMIR C. ROMUALDO

Involvement with ATRIEV: ATRIEV supporter since 2000; has served as facilitator for various workshops; she was instrumental in the Teaching Methodology Training Level 1 of 20 ATRIEV trainers; will continue to assist in the certification of ATRIEV’s training programs with TESDA;

Nominee 6: MARCELIA “CELIA” GARCIA

Professional Background: Co-founder and Vice President of DeafBlind Support Phils.; Academic: BSBA,  Univ of the Phils; MBA, Ateneo de Manila Univ.; Master of Education, Harvard University; MA in Dispute Resolution and PhD in Public Policy(cand),  University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Reasons for the Nomination: For ATRIEV to serve DeafBlind community, and promote development of appropriate training to persons with sensory disabilities.

 

Nominee 7: SEVERINO “JOEY” REYES, III

Involvement with ATRIEV: Training of ATRIEV Trainers & Trainees & Alumni; Provides sponsorship for the PALS training; ATRIEV Vice President & Vice Chairman of the Board;

Nominee 8: MA. SHEILA SANTOS JIMENEZ, M.D.

Professional Background: Ophthalmologist – Low Vision Specialist; President, Low Vision Interest Group of the Philippines; Head of Section, St. Luke’s QC; Fatima University MC; DOH Eye Center-East Avenue Medical Center; National Focal Person Low Vision; Asst. Professor, St. Luke’s MC College of Medicine-WHQM

Involvement with ATRIEV: (Informal) Referral of her patients to ATRIEV

Reasons for the Nomination: It has been her advocacy to help her Low Vision patients since 2000 and has been endorsing ATRIEV to her patients for equipping on assistive training.

 

Nominee 9: KREZA GEOVIEN G. LIGAYA, RCh, M.D.
